Just had my curls cut, at Regis hair salon. I love what they did with my hair, even better then I asked for. The hair stylist was very personable, caring and kind. Being in the salon made me feel right at home, with a very bright atmosphere. There was also someone always sweeping away the hair, keeping the it looking very neat and pristine. Furthermore the mananger was out on the floor interacting with costumers. Not just managing the salon, but also participating.

Speaking from a guy's perspective this is the first place I've gotten my hair cut where they did everything right, it looks great and they listened to my requests. Ask for Riley, she's great. Also, don't be afraid to ask them to rinse out your hair AFTER your hair cut. Guys always have stubbles left in there that wreak havoc. They must put it in their system because after asking twice and seeing a different person there they knew to do it after.

They butchered my son's long hair, shoulder-length, he was going to be Thor for Halloween, we asked for a 2 inch trim, it's now extremely short, like three inches long in total in most places.

I was there yesterday, I told the lady I wanted 3-4 inches off the length (my hair is quite long) thin it out, layers, and I needed bangs. It had been a while since I had my hair cut, and my bangs were completely grown out. I had to stop her almost immediately because she was going to cut a lot more than 4 inches. She still ended up cutting off a little more than 5 inches. When she was almost done I had to ask her to wisp the bangs a bit, because she gave me a blunt cleopatra style bang, fine, she did it. It wasn't til she was done that I realized there were no layers and absolutely no style to the cut. I know I didn't say 'make it look good', but since when do you have to tell a hairdresser to make your hair cut look good? When I got home I realized it was even worse than I thought. The bangs are crooked, and I don't mean just in the length. She cut them much farther to one side than the other, and even cut the thin wispy hairs on the one side of my forehead. Since there are no layers, I woke up this morning to a puffy mullet. Did I complain? No, what would be the point? Really, my hair is a pretty simple cut, and if she couldn't cut bangs there was no way I would trust her to add layers. Additionally, i got the distinct impression that she was the one in charge, the manager, owner, whatever. I have been there quite a few times over the years, it's always been a little hit and miss, but this is the first time I've ever left a salon and started crying. So now I'm trying to figure out where to go to get it fixed. I will NEVER go back there, and I will tell everyone I know not to go there, she really didn't seem to care.
